We were recently contracted to wrap a well-known 68m charter yacht, which was still a few years away from its five-year survey.

The new owner did not want to commit to a full repaint before the survey but wanted to restore the boat to a gloss finish as the existing paintwork had suffered badly from UV fading. The captain approached us to explore whether a full hull wrap could restore the yacht’s appearance.

Our team produced precise colour-matched samples, which were reviewed and approved on board. Once the deposit was secured, we dispatched the wrap material directly to the vessel.

As is often the case with busy charter yachts, the schedule shifted multiple times. Originally planned for Europe ahead of the Mediterranean season, the project was eventually carried out in the United States, prior to the yacht’s Caribbean program.

The work took place at SafeHarbour Rybovich in West Palm Beach, FL, where we wrapped the full 68m hull in-water, working from floating rafts and cherry pickers. Careful planning and execution ensured a flawless result despite the logistical challenges.

Upon completion, the yacht departed for Antigua looking refreshed and revitalised—ready to return to the charter market with a glossy new finish.
